Turmeric ( 600 kgs @ rs.30/kg.Local Erode Variety) was procured during March 2011.It was treated with Copper Oxy chloride and Phasalone(ZOLONE) and was stored as a heap in shade.
Some kind of fungal infection was seen around 27 april 2011 in the rhizomes that were stored,it was again treated with phasalone as per the advice of Agri. University.The infection was controlled.

The Crop was infected by a fungus - Leaf Spot and Leaf Rot Occured.The Plants were treated with SAAF (Carbodenzedim +Mancozeb 2.5gms/litre of water) 0n 13.08.2011 followed by Tilt(Propiconazole 25% Ec) after 15 days.Pseudomonas 1kg for 10 tanks was used in the Natural Plot.
