Turmeric ( 600 kgs @ rs.30/kg.Local Erode Variety) was procured during March 2011.It was treated with Copper Oxy chloride and Phasalone(ZOLONE) and was stored as a heap in shade.

Banana Plantation at Sathy
The Banana Plantation is in one acre plot at Sathyamangalam.50 cents has been marked for Madhavan Technology and 50 Cents for Natural Farming.50 cents were prepared according to Mr.Madhavans Inputs (SAT2 is the code for the land in the document link) a month before planting.The Suckers were planted on May 15th.A total of 950 suckers have been planted in the 1 acre plot.
The Distance adopted for Madhavan's technology was 7 feet between plants and for Natural it is 12 feet with two plants in each pit.Irrigation is twice a Week.
A Part of the plants planted in the Madhavan plot are to be tested wit natural inputs also.The Natural suckers were treated wit Panchagavya and planted.Mixed Live mulch (Navadanya) has been added in between plants.Black gram has been sown on the borders.(the Black Grams failed to grow well)
The starter for Madhavans tech was prepared by mixing 2gm DAP /lit water and fill the pit prior to planting suckers by about 200ml of the solution as per advice.Phorate granules 2 to 3 gms were dropped in the pit prior to planting.Implementing his advice on fertilizer placement has been a challenge without the tool.We have tested a few plants with the same.
